DESCRIPTION:At Home With Diversity (AHWD) is an educational experience designed to present a picture of the changing face of the real estate industry. More importantly\, the class teaches REALTORS® how to work effectively with—and within—a rapidly changing multicultural market. Diversifying your clientele means learning the practical skills and tools to expand business and effectively service all cultural groups. This certification addresses issues of diversity\, fair housing\, and cultural differences. The course teaches you to transact business in culturally competent ways. \nThe At Home With Diversity Course teaches REALTORS® how to: \n\nAssess and understand attributes of diversity in local markets and their impact on the real estate industry.\nUnderstand basic competencies to earn the confidence of potential buyers and sellers\, regardless of race\, ethnicity\, religion\, gender\, disabilities\, familial status\, or national origin.\nBuild a business plan that minimizes risk and successfully services all types of clients.\n\nHow to earn the At Home with Diversity certification:  \n\nBe a member in good standing of the National Association of REALTORS® Complete NAR’s At Home With Diversity course.\nUpon course completion\, receive email with link to submit the application fee.\nPay one-time application fee in the amount of $40 (reduced fee until Dec. 31\, 2024) to become certified.\n\nAdditional Details: \n\nNo annual certification dues (except for maintained membership in NAR).\nInternational REALTORS® must maintain membership in NAR as an International REALTOR® Member by paying annual dues of $75.\n\nPresenter: Tiffany Lobertini\, ABR\, AHWD\, C2EX Ambassador\, ePro\, GREEN\, MRP\, SRS\, PPS Tiffany is a broker for her family-owned brokerage in Dayton Ohio. DESCRIPTION:From Ohio REALTORS – October 6-7\, 2026 | 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. \nThe SRES® designation course trains REALTORS® to meet the special needs of maturing Americans when selling\, buying\, relocating\, or refinancing residential or investment properties. The SRES® Council tracks the over 50 lifestyle and housing issues and educates REALTORS® who are making over 50 real estate a part of their overall business plan. By earning the SRES® designation\, REALTORS® are prepared to approach mature clients with the best options and information for them to make life-changing decisions. \nThis program offers REALTORS® the unique opportunity to learn and build key skills in counseling adults 50+ through selling their family home\, buying rental property\, or moving to a senior community\, among many other issues. \nSeniors Real Estate Specialists® learn how to: \n\nIdentify the power of generational demographics\nDevelop and maintain relationship marketing skills\nCounsel rather than sell to seniors\nUse team-building skills with other seniors professionals\nUnderstand the implications of tax laws\, probate and estate planning\nCreate a point of difference from the competition\n\nContinued Market Knowledge \nIn addition to guiding clients to the right experts on tax laws\, probate\, estate planning\, and a variety of equity conversion strategies\, Seniors Real Estate Specialists® can offer clients relevant information on current trends in real estate transactions for the 50+ market. \nCE Information & Required Technology: \n\nThis course is certified for 12 hours of real estate credit\, elective for the ABR and SRS designation.\nAttendees will need to access the program with a device (phone\, laptop\, PC) that has a camera\, speaker\, microphone\, and reliable\, high-speed internet access.
