The City of Brook Park introduced Ordinance 11326-2023, which authorizes the implementation of the Brook Park Home Maintenance Grant Program (HMAP). Those who meet the income requirements for this program are eligible for up to $5,000 in matching funds for documented repairs and improvements to owner-occupied residential exterior structures.

The City of Parma Heights passed an ordinance, 2024-22, which amends Section 634.08 “Registration of Vacant Property.” This amendment includes an increased registration fee for residential properties of $250.00 (previously $200.00) and an increased registration fee for commercial properties of $500.00 (previously $300.00). The City of Parma Heights has also passed Ordinance 2024-23 which amends Section 364.09 “Foreclosure Registration.” This amendment includes an increased registration fee for residential properties of $250.00 (previously $150.00) and an increased registration fee for commercial properties of $500.00 (previously $300.00). Late registration fees for residential properties were increased from $300.00 to $400.00, and from $500.00 to $600.00 for commercial properties.
