ACAR conducts a number of professional development programs led by top notch speakers and experts throughout the year. Education opportunities include discounted continuing education rates, computer training, commercial-specific continuing education, designations courses, as well as a limited selection of books, audiotapes and videotapes. Members have the opportunity to earn a scholarship for continuing education through the Harold L. Klarreich Scholarship Foundation.

Join REALTOR® and Affiliate members at committee meetings, golf outings, holiday parties and other events for professional and social networking opportunities. The purpose of the Commercial Forum is to provide ACAR’s commercial members with networking opportunities such as "What's Driving Northeast Ohio," and commercial continuing education classes. There are opportunities to apply for a scholarship to obtain your SIOR Designation. The SIOR designation is a professional achievement for highly qualified commercial real estate practitioners with a strong transactional history in brokerage, fee-based services, or executive management.

ACAR is also pleased to offer the Commercial Information Exchange (CIE) powered by Catylist. The CIE is a full commercial property database and listing service for Northeast Ohio. ACAR is partnering with Catylist to bring you the leading software designed to empower commercial professionals by increasing market exposure of commercial listings to brokers and the public.

Members of ACAR have full access to MLS Now with hands-on MLS training to get the most out of the service.

ACAR members can purchase electronic key box equipment or change their PIN or shackle numbers at the centrally-located Board office.

Staff professionals, through the REALTORS®Political Action Committee (RPAC), represent the interests of Ohio’s private property owners and REALTORS® before the legislature and regulatory bodies of local and county government.

All ACAR members agree to act under and adhere to a strict Code of Ethics. Through its Professional Standards Committee, ACAR investigates allegations of unethical conduct, and mediates and resolves disputes in a timely fashion.

ACAR members are eligible to receive prestigious awards for their dedication and service to ACAR and the real estate industry.

ACAR’s annual special events and community service projects provide the opportunity for REALTORS® and Affiliate members to work together to display industry excellence and involvement in the community.
