What are your ethical duties to clients, the general public and your fellow licensees?  Join us for this lively ethics presentation as we review parallels and distinctions between Ohio’s Canons of Ethics and NAR’s Code of Ethics.  Licensees have ethical duties to the public; duties to clients, customers and to your fellow licensees.  We’ll discuss the differences between your clients and your customers; misrepresentation; handling earnest money handling; and the perils of unauthorized access.

Students will learn about the importance of respecting agency relationships other real estate practitioners have with their clients.  We’ll review the ODRE complaint process, and the Association complaint process.  This is a ‘Can’t-Miss’ ethics class!

Instructor:  Jackie Cassara

3 hours Canons of Ethics approved.  This class also meets the NAR requirement for ethics training due on December 31, 2024.

Offered in-person only; no virtual option.
