For members who either are a housing provider or are working with clients who own rental properties, Cleveland’s “Residents First” housing overhaul is taking effect now.
On May 22, 2024, Cleveland Building & Housing Director Sally Martin-O’Toole shared that a new rental registration app would be available at the end of the week. Also, housing providers can expect a letter (being mailed the week of May 27) with information about the City’s new portal and regulations. Of note: fees must be paid for 2024 by the end of June, and supplemental required info will be due in September.
