As the real estate industry continues to evolve at a rapid pace, strong leadership and clear priorities matter more than ever. Earlier this month, we welcomed Mic Gordon, 2026 President of Ohio REALTORS , to the #HomeForAll Podcast for a wide-ranging conversation about advocacy, industry change, and what lies ahead for REALTORS® across the state.
Mic made the trip from Columbus to Northeast Ohio to speak directly with ACAR members — and his message was equal parts practical, personal, and timely.
A Presidential Focus on REALTOR® Wellness
When asked about his priorities as he prepares to step into the presidency, Mic was clear: while homeownership, private property rights, and advocacy remain foundational, REALTOR® wellness will be a central focus of his 2026 term.
Reflecting on the past five years, Mic shared how the pandemic, unprecedented market conditions, personal loss, and health challenges shaped his perspective. Like many in the profession, he described REALTORS® as problem-solvers by nature — people who consistently put clients, colleagues, and communities first.
That tendency, he noted, often comes at the expense of taking care of ourselves.
“Real estate has been incredibly good to my family,” Mic shared. “Giving back is important — but we also have to be willing to talk about our own wellness. That’s where it starts.”
The response he’s received so far, he says, has reinforced how necessary — and overdue — this conversation is.
Why the Three-Way Agreement Still Matters
Mic also discussed the strength of the REALTOR® three-way agreement, which connects local associations, Ohio REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®
