
Form-Based Codes have been gaining popularity throughout Cuyahoga, Portage, and Summit County, Ohio. This type of code is focuses on the public realm and uses physical features as a means of zoning rather than separated uses. The Growth Management Fact Book (2022 Update) published by the National Association of REALTORS® explains Form-Based Codes and discuss their differences from traditional zoning, key factors, and adoption methods, as well as the effectiveness.
